Meliteles heart how many wraiths
I draw my sword as soon as I have control of Geralt after the conversation. Spam Red Haze bombs to give yourself a breathing space while you rest. Axii works nicely against wraiths if you have time to cast it too. I avoid other traps because I keep forgetting where they are and end up being too close when they go off. And I constantly watch the Quen indicator and get out of the way as soon as it gets low.
This is the one fight where you definitely use Quen. It should end before the potions run out, which means under 8 minutes. How long it takes seems to be based on a combination of how many die, and whether or not Anezka gets distracted.
Red Haze defintely speeds things up, but it's usually close to the time limit. I do die sometimes in this one, but if so it's because I've lost concentration and forgotten to keep an eye on that Quen indicator, or screwed up and let them get too close to Anezka.
They ask you to test to see if it will protect him from harm. You have a choice about how you answer. You can suggest that the amulet might help, or you can tell the group that you have your doubts. Your answer affects events later in the game. You can eventually obtain the amulet for your own use regardless of the answer that you give now, but you'll get more out of the arrangement if you express reservations when it comes to the amulet's powers in the present. Later in the Prologue, you'll arrive at the To the Temple quest.
You begin the quest with the king at your side, but he asks you to find an alternate route into the barricaded temple. If you convinced Newboy that he could brave battle in just his underclothes because of the amulet that he obtained, you'll find him dead in the city streets among the houses. If you told Newboy to wear some armor, you'll instead meet up with him just ahead of the end of the The Dungeons of the La Valettes quest.
He'll offer to lead soldiers out of your way so that you can proceed. Follow immediately after him, though, and the guards will rush in and kill him. Loot his corpse for the medallion, which you'll need in Chapter 1 if you want to actually complete this side quest. That quest involves a visit to the village of Lobinden, on the outskirts of the city of Flotsam. Try to get better armor? If you resolve the troll quest peaceful and give him back the head of his wife you will get a schematic for an nice armor, probably best one you can get in chapter 1.
I'm using the Kraken Skin Armor epic one. This is so discouraging.. I don't suck at this game at all but I'll apply the oil maybe that will do the trick. Thats ALL it does? Log In Sign Up.
